Courthouse COVID-19 UPDATE
KEWEENAW COUNTY
PRESS RELEASE
The Keweenaw County Board of Commissioners have decided at a special meeting on March 20, 2020, that in an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Courthouse door will be locked to the public.
In order to implement the measures to slow the spread of the potential virus, and minimize the burden to our health care providers and maintain the health and safety of our employees and community members, Keweenaw County will close the Courthouse to the general public effective Monday, March 23, 2020 at 9 a.m.
The county employees will report to work as normal.
All business will be conducted via postal mail, email, fax or phone.
Appointments may be made at the discretion of the Department Head.
